EngenderHealth is seeking expressions of interest from highly qualified candidates for the following full-time staff positions for an anticipated five-year USAID project named, Expanding and Strengthening Family Planning Service Options in Uganda. The following project staff will be based in Kampala providing technical assistance to the Government of Uganda (GOU), civil societies, community-based organizations and the private sector at the community, facility, district, and national levels. The goal of the project is to increase use of equitable, quality and sustainable family planning (FP) services through increased FP service delivery options and demand for modern contraception including longacting reversible contraception (LARCs) and permanent methods (PMs). Cross cutting themes include gender programing and youth sexual reproductivehealth(SRH)services.Fluency in written and spokenEnglish is required for all the following positions: Chief of Party (COP); Deputy COP;Director,FPServiceDelivery; Director,FinancialManagementand Operations; Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor (ME&L).
The Deputy COP will support the COP in leading and managing the overall project. S/he must have a Master’s degree in a related field of study with a minimum of five years of experience working in a mid to senior levelmanagementortechnical leadershipposition inSRH,gender, or other health-related field. S/he also must have five years of mid to senior level experience in designing implementing and/or evaluating large SRH programs in Uganda. Demonstrated leadership qualities are required.
