EngenderHealth is seeking expressions of interest from highly qualified candidates for the following full-time staff positions for an anticipated five-year USAID project named, Expanding and Strengthening Family Planning Service Options in Uganda. The following project staff will be based in Kampala providing technical assistance to the Government of Uganda (GOU), civil societies, community-based organizations and the private sector at the community, facility, district, and national levels. The goal of the project is to increase use of equitable, quality and sustainable family planning (FP) services through increased FP service delivery options and demand for modern contraception including longacting reversible contraception (LARCs) and permanent methods (PMs). Cross cutting themes include gender programing and youth sexual reproductivehealth(SRH)services.Fluency in written and spokenEnglish is required for all the following positions: Chief of Party (COP); Deputy COP;Director,FPServiceDelivery; Director,FinancialManagementand Operations; Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor (ME&L).

The Director, Financial Management and Operations will be responsible for overall financial management and administration of the project. Working with the COP, s/he will develop and ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project’s financial plan, including management of grants and contracts following local laws, EngenderHealth and US Government requirements. Certified public accountancyortheequivalentprofessionalqualificationsareaplus,with a Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant field required. A minimum of eight years of work experience in administration and financial management of large-scale, complex, international development assistance programs with demonstrated supervisory experience is required. Experience in supervising grant managementprocessesandprovidingtechnicalsupporttoprogramstaff is preferred. Familiarity with USG financial reporting and compliance requirements and experience in managing donor funded procurements and subcontracts/grants is desired.
