Tegemeo Institute of Agricultural Policy and Development, an institute of Egerton University has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES), Makerere University, to undertake a joint studies.
CAES and Tegemeo Institute are currently looking for enumerators to be engaged for a short-term data collection assignment (approximately two months) in the Western and Eastern regions of Uganda. This data will be used in the assessment of the ‘lmpact of Strategies used for Awareness Creation and Promotion of New Seed Varieties in Ugandat
Required qualifications
BSc graduates in Agriculture-related disciplines with at least second class honours.
Fresh/Recent graduates - not more than three years ago since graduation.
Some experience in rural household data collection.
Knowledge of a local language (Lunyoro/Lutoro for Western Uganda and Lusoga/ Lusamya/Swahili for Eastern Uganda).
Experience in data collection using electronic gadgets is an added advantage.
