KEY FUNCTIONS
a) Prepare well-researched lectures and delivering them to undergraduate and postgraduate students. b) Set tests. examinations and course work in accordance with University policy and regulations. c) Administer and invigilate tests and examinations according to University policy and regulations. d) Mark tests. course works and examination scripts. compiling and grading examination results in accordance with University policy and regulations. e) Guide and advice students on their academic findings through conferences, seminars and publications. f) Supervise undergraduate and post graduate students undertaking research g) Conduct seminars and tutorials. h) Mentor lecturers and Assistant Lecturer.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
a) Have a PhD degree in specific Faculty hased area specialization from a recognized University.
b) Should have at least five years of teaching experience at anylevel in institution of higher learning.
c) Should have at least two (2) internationally recognised peer reviewed publications in the field of specialization.
d) Be an active leader who possesses entrepreneurial spirit and managerial excellence regarding all aspects of University operations including selection and retention offaculty stafl’for institutional development and student services
e) Have a proven track record of research and publications in peer reviewed journals and/or monographs and books
Renumeration
An attractive remuneration package shall he paid in accordance with the University Terms and Conditions of Service.
